1. Modifying Cell Contents

You can edit data in cells in multiple ways:

A. Overwriting a Cell

  1. Click on the cell (e.g., A1).
  2. Type new content.
  3. Press Enter or Tab to confirm.
    1. This replaces the old content completely.

B. Editing Part of a Cell (Without Overwriting)

  1. Double-click the cell (or press F2 in Excel).
    1. The cursor appears inside the cell for editing.
  2. Make changes (add, delete, or modify text).
  3. Press Enter to save.

C. Editing from the Formula Bar

  1. Select the cell.
  2. Click inside the formula bar (above the sheet).
  3. Edit the text, then press Enter.
